We believe in the power of sports, arts and culture to enrich lives and bring communities together. Our administration is dedicated to supporting creative industries, enhancing sports facilities and promoting cultural events. The Creative Economy has been formally launched and is being professionalised through Project TRANSFORM, the creatives.kn platform and a revamped National Creative Economy Registry, alongside the Intangible Cultural Heritage Policy and a Virtual Library of Cultural Archives. On the field, the Kim Collins Athletic Stadium and the Halfway Tree Sporting Facility have been renovated, a new football stadium is under construction in Conaree, and the New Road Family Park has been reopened. From Sugar Mas and the St. Kitts Music Festival to the inaugural Creative Arts Summer Camp and a Creative Arts Centre now under way, these efforts are creating vibrant avenues for youth engagement and strengthening our nation’s unique cultural identity.

Creative Economy & the Arts
- Officially launched the Creative Economy.
- Prioritised expansion of the creative economy as a key sector for income generation and citizen participation.
- Implemented Project TRANSFORM to professionalise and grow the creative sector through brand development, the creatives.kn platform, improved services, partnerships, training and infrastructure development.
- Revamped the National Creative Economy Registry and advanced the Intangible Cultural Heritage Policy and Strategic Plan, a Virtual Library of Cultural Archives and expanded creative-arts programming.
- Strengthened regional and international networks geared towards growth, development and business opportunities for local artistes.
- Broke ground for a Creative Arts Centre designed to provide dedicated space for artistic expression, training and cultural development.
- Launched MoENT TV’s new reality TV show, “Let’s Do This!”.
- Delivered Phase 1A of the Documentation and Equipment Skills Training Workshop.
Sports Facilities & Development
- Renovated the Kim Collins Athletic Stadium.
- Renovated the Halfway Tree Sporting Facility.
- Constructed a new football stadium in Conaree, following the groundbreaking ceremony on 10 April 2024 at the Conaree Playfield.
- Renovated and reopened the New Road Family Park.
- Expanded the use of sports as a tool for youth empowerment and social development.
- Invested in sports, arts, culture and entrepreneurship to advance sustainable growth and community empowerment.
- Successfully hosted the 6ixty and CPL Cricket Tournament.
Festivals, Culture & Community Events
- Hosted Sugar Mas 51 celebrations.
- Launched the inaugural Creative Arts Summer Camp.
- Hosted the Easter Drum Dynamics Camp — the Department of Creative Economy’s four-day Drum Dynamics workshop for children.
- Hosted the inaugural Kite Flying Festival for seniors.
- Showcased cuisine and culture through a live NBC South Florida feature with chefs.
