Sugar mas

The St. Kitts and Nevis National Carnival, dubbed Sugar Mas, takes place annually during December and culminates officially on the first Tuesday in January.

St. Kitts Music Festival

The St. Kitts Music Festival has earned the reputation of being the most diversified musical show in the Caribbean by blending rich exciting music with exhilarating performances. The festival takes place annually in the month of June.

Nevis Culturama

The idea of Culturama was conceived in February 1974 during a meeting of the Nevis Dramatic and Cultural Society (NEDACS). The festival takes place annually during the Emancipation Day/August Monday weekend.

Black san’ Bang-A-Lang

Black san’ Bang-A-Lang Festival is an annual festival held in Sandy Point annually during the month of April.

Green Valley Festival

Green Valley Festival is an annual festival held in Cayon annually during the month of May.

St. Kitts was once known as the Gibraltar of the West Indies for its domination of 18th- century colonial battles. How the island rose to become the world’s leader in sugarcane cultivation, an inspiration for the industrial revolution in the process.
