The purpose of the Royal St Christopher and Nevis Police Force is to uphold the law fairly and firmly, without fear or favour, to prevent crime, to pursue and bring to justice those who break the law, to keep the peace, to protect, help and reassure residents and visitors and to be seen to do all this with integrity and impartiality

 

Training Complex Mission Statement

The object of the Police Training School is to provide a highly skilled, physically alert and reliable Police Officer, equipped with the kind of knowledge and expertise, which will enable him/her to meet the present and future needs of the people of St Christopher and Nevis and visitors as far as their safety and security are concerned.

 

Police Training School Vision Statement

The Vision Statement of the Police Training School is to have an adequate number of Police Officers to ensure an available supply of personnel to meet the increasing demand for the effective enforcement of Law and Order in the Federation.

In addition the Police Training School will strive to develop programs for the continuous training of all ranks in modern police techniques thus

sharpening individual officers managerial and interpersonal skills.

St. Kitts was once known as the Gibraltar of the West Indies for its domination of 18th- century colonial battles. How the island rose to become the world’s leader in sugarcane cultivation, an inspiration for the industrial revolution in the process.
