In SKN Citizenship

Listed below are the necessary requirements when applying for citizenship in various ways.

via Birth

CITIZENSHIP BY DESCENT requirements:

  • Parents’ and grandparents’ birth certificate must be certified by a Justice of Peace or Notary Public

  • Applicant’s birth certificate

  • US $50 or EC $120

  • Two (2) photographs

  • Proof from a recognized institution that you have passed an HIV test

  • Send documents to:

All documents must be originals or certified copies.  Please make money orders payable to “Accountant General”.  It takes 3-4 weeks for the citizenship application to be processed.

CITIZENSHIP BY MARRIAGE requirements:

  • Completed application form

  • Spouse’s birth certificate

  • Applicant’s birth certificate

  • Marriage certificate

  • Money order in the amount of: US $100 or EC $250 (if married before 1983) or US $325 or EC $850 if married after 1983

  • Two (2) photographs

  • Proof from a recognized institution that you have passed an HIV test

  • Send documents to:
