Who we Serve
All persons who do not have the money to afford an attorney in private practice. Our emphasis though will be on women, the elderly and youths who need legal advice and representation in court.
Where to Apply
At the legal Aid and Advice Centre.
Come in and fill out an application form. An adult must fill out the form on behalf of the juvenile. This adult may be a parent or guardian. Please bring proof of your income, savings, earnings and expenses. Your application will be processed to determine whether or not you qualify for legal aid.
Is there a fee ?
You will be charged a reasonable fee for the service provided. You can make arrangements to pay by installments. If you cannot afford to pay you will not be asked to pay.
