Physical Planning Department Units

The Department of Physical Planning consists of the following sections:

The Development Control Section

This section is responsible for receiving and reviewing development plans submitted for approval from the public. This section is also responsible for the building inspection process during construction.

The Physical Planning or Forward Planning Section.

This section is responsible for coordinating the activities for the development and review of the national Physical Development Plan. It is also responsible for the assessment and development of reports and recommendations/guidelines for specific types of development activities such as vending, location of auto mechanics etc.
